My new year celebrations were spent in Quintana Roo this year. A few days in Cancun, a quick trip to Tulum and three days on the little paradise that is Isla Holbox. Here are some of my favourite photos of the trip.

Thanks Kim. Tulum is pretty special, but Holbox for me is another level. There’s virtually nobody there, so it’s perfect for escaping chilangos haha. Very good, are you gonna be in DF your whole visit or try to get out and about?
Hola Will! I’ll be in DF on the 13th, and likely on the 14th I’ll go to Tehuacán to help my friend with his store. Details on my last blog post. After that, who knows? I’m hoping to spend some time in Oaxaca and then Taxco, but I will be footloose and fancy free. So I’ll go wherever I feel like it until I don’t. Then back to Boston.

Nice photos! Haven’t made it over to the Yucatán, but it looks awesome. We’re headed to the coast of Oaxaca next month for a couple weeks. I never know what to expect from la Costa Chica. I’m sure there will be lots to photograph.
Thanks Amanda! Ah, it’s amazing out there you will love it! I only know Puerto Escondido and Huatulco, but they’re both great!
Puerto Escondido is definitely worth visiting. If you don’t surf, but like to swim, be sure to check out Playa Carrizalillo, which is in a protected cove. Or, if you’re a surfer, you’ll love Zicatela. Saludos and have a great time! I’m envious!
